Victor Osimhen delivered another masterclass on Champions League night, scoring twice in Napoli’s 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the round of 16 second leg fixture at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona on Wednesday.
Recalled the Nigerian forward also scored in the first leg as Napoli cruised to 2-0 win in Germany.
Wth the second leg brace, Osimhen becomes the first Napoli player to score in both legs of UEFA Champions League knock out phase.
The brace also took his tally in the four in the tournament and 24 goals in 28 games in all competitions this season.
Osimhen headed a cross from Matteo Politano on the stroke of half time to put the Partenopei in front.
The 24-year-old made it 2-0 for the home side when he finished a off a team move in the second half.
Piotr Zielinski then scored a penalty to earn Napoli a 5-0 aggregate win over the Europa League Champions.
