Nigerian goalkeeper, Carl Ikeme has made his first appearance in public since news of his medical condition broke last week.
Ikeme tweeted a photo of himself in what appeared a hospital bed, beaming with a smile and he thumbs up.

He was diagnosed with acute leukaemia by Wolverhampton Wanderers doctors during a routine pre-season test.
After the devastating news warm messages poured in from national teammates, the NFF and fans of the goalie.
Even fellow goalkeepers like Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois and FC Barcelona’s Marc-André ter Stegen tweeted their support for the Nigerian.
