Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers praised Kelechi Iheanacho’s talent, saying the striker definitely has a role in his team.
Iheanacho was given a rare start against Aston Villa last weekend and the forward was involved in three of the four goals scored by the Foxes at the Villa Park.
Speaking ahead of clash with Tottenham Hotspur, Rodgers singled out the Nigerian international for praises.
“You saw last week that when you have the profiles you want, the effect on his talents. He scored a goal and set up two,
“He scored and created two and created the perfect-weighted pass to Tetê, that’s his natural instinct.”
“I thought he was excellent last week, and he has been great in training.” Brendan Rodgers said in his Thursday’s pre match conference.
Ihenacho will be aiming to keep his place in the squad when Leicester City host Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power.
