Brendan Rodgers has revealed that Willfred Ndidi is close to returning from his latest injury.
Ndidi has not trained for quit sometimes due to an injury that ruled him out of action against Brighton and Holve Albion.
He was said to have picked up a muscle strain in Leicester City training just before game which ended 2-2 at King Power Stadium.
Speaking ahead of Saturday’s FA Cup fourth-round tie at Walsall, Rodgers said the 25-year-old midfielder is recovering well and close to returning to the group.
“He’ll be out on the grass at the weekend,” he replied when asked about the midfielder’s fitness.
“He should join the group next week.”
The former Genk midfielder has been far from his usual best this season, suffering several injuries and loss of form.
The 25-year-old has managed to featured in 16 games across all competitions for Leicester City this season.
