Ligue 1 side OGC Nice are now in pole position to sign FC Lorient’s Nigerian striker, Terem Moffi.
It is understood that Lorient won’t stand in the way of the striker should they receive an offer that matches their valuation, and Nice are now ready to do that.
Nice previously offered €17m for the forward but it was immediately rejected and they have now returned with an improved bid.
According to a report in Ouest-France, Lorient are considering the new €20million bid for Moffi from the rival Ligue 1 club.
English side West Ham United are also interested in the forward, but the Hammers offered €15million.
Meanwhile, it is understood the 23 year-old has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Les Aiglons.
The Nigeria international has scored 12 goals in 18 league appearances for Lorient this season, but has less than seven months remaining on his current deal.
