Rivers United and homebased national team forward Maurice Chukwu is lamenting Nigeria’s absence from the ongoing Championship of African nations in Algeria and has expressed disappointment especially considering that his penalty miss on the day of the qualifers against Ghana’s Black Galaxies proved costly for the home based Super Eagles team.Â
Chukwu speaking in a chat with brila.net said he was left distraught following Nigeria’s failure to qualify for the 2023 CHAN and that the reality of the team’s absence is now been felt with games of the ongoing CHAN been played in Algeria.
