Former Dortmund forward, Victor Ikpeba has hit out at Jadon Sancho, labeling the winger waste of time and resources at Manchester United.
Sancho is one of the misfits at Manchester United, with manager Eric Ten Haag leaving the English winger out of the squad for several months.
Ten Hag revealed, Sancho a £70m signing from Borussia Dortmund has lost shape and not in good physical condition to play competitive football.
Manchester United however are dong well without him, winning games since returning from FIFA World Cup break, but Ikpeba is still not impressed with the Club’s transfer policy.
“The truth is that the transfers of this great club have been bad, they overpay on players,” Ikpeba said.
“Look at this young lad, Jadon Sancho, that came from Borussia Dortmund. Why spend so much on him, about £70m on him – it’s a waste of money.
“He (Sancho) was overpriced for a young player. But what this guy (Erik ten Hag) is doing is good,” He concluded.
