Samuel Chukwueze was on target again for Villarreal in their Copa del Rey victory over Cartegena on Tuesday.
Chukwueze whose five-month goals drought in the league was put to bed over the weekend against Valencia, put in an all-round performance for the Yellow Submarines at the Municipal Stadium Cartagonova.
Dropped to the bench for the encounter, but the Nigerian came on for Arnaut Danjuma in the 68th minute.
The Nigeria international however got his goal with five minutes left from time, to make it 4-1 for Quique Setien’s side.
Alex Baena, Danjuma, Jose Luis Morales, and Etienne Capoue were the other scorers for Villarreal.
Meanwhile Pablo Vazquez scored what was a consolation for the second division side, Cartegena.
With the goal, Chukwueze took his tally to seven goals and six assists in 24 appearances across all competitions.
