Kelechi Nwakali played all minutes for Huesca who beat Sporting Gijon 1 – 0 away from home on Monday.
Nwakali was starting a game for the first time since moving to the club on a permanent basis from Arsenal last summer and the skillful midfielder proved he will be vital to the team next season.
Cristo González scored the only goal came in the second, thanks to an assist from Sergio Gómez and Nwakali who was pulling all the strings from the middle of the park.
The victory also guaranteed that Nwakali and Huesca will end the season as the Spanish Segunda Division champion.
