Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr will return to Nigeria after the friendlies, to observe NPFL clubs playing in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round.
Nigeria wrapped up the March international window with a 1-0 win against Poland and 2-0 loss to Serbia, but the work continues for Rohr.
According to the Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, the players were decamped on Wednesday and will return to their club bases – Gabriel Okechukwu and Ikechukwu Ezenwa were already airborne to Nigeria at the time of the interview.
Enyimba, Akwa United, Plateau United and MFM FC will all be in action; bidding to reach the group stage of the CAF CC, when the play-off round matches get underway next month.
