Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos is set to reveal his final squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe this Thursday.

Broos had initially named a 36-man preliminary squad on May 15, which included Ronwen Williams, Themba Zwane, Percy Tau, Teboho Mokoena, and Khuliso Mudau all of whom participated in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.

Bafana Bafana will face the Super Eagles in Uyo on Friday June 7, for a matchday three encounter.

Following this, they will host Zimbabwe at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday, June 11.

Currently, Broos’ side are in second place in Group C with three points, while Nigeria trails closely in third place with two points.

The last clash between South Africa and Nigeria was in the AFCON semi-finals, where the Super Eagles triumphed 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time.
