Henan Hushiang defeated holders DALIAN Quanjian in the Chinese women’s Super League fixture by a 5-1 blowout at the Henan Provincial Stadium on Sunday with Chiwendu Ihezuo bagging a brace.
Nigerian International, Chiwendu Ihezuo played a part in this victory as she got on the score sheet twice. This is coming after making a scoring debut in her side’s 2-0 win against same DALIAN Quanjian at the Luoyang stadium on July 13th, 2019.
The 22-year-old Chiwendu who joined Henan in April from BIIK Kazygurt ended her six-match drought by opening the scoring for the hosts about 11 minutes into the game which was followed by Lou Jiahui who doubled the lead for Henan by scoring her first goal of the season from a freekick exactly 8 minutes later. Lou scored the third for her side on the 40th minute.

The visitors got a consolation goal on the 85th minute before Ihezuo slotted in her second on the night to wrap up the victory on the stroke of the 90th minute.
Henan remains sixth on the Chinese league table with seven points gained from eight matches this season.
