CHELSEA boss Maurizio Sarri is under pressure to keep his job just over halfway through his first season at the club.
The Italian must have known what he was letting himself in for when he quit Napoli last summer.
Chelsea are renowned for their impatience with managers and six bosses have lasted less than a year since Roman Abramovich bought the club.
Sarri was tasked with returning the west London club to the top following a disappointing final season under Antonio Conte.
But despite a promising start to the season, Chelsea appear to have regressed to the mean and are in the midst of one of their worst periods in recent history.
A 4-0 thrashing at Bournemouth was swiftly followed by their worst ever Premier League result in their very next away game – a 6-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Sarri is on thin ice following the embarrassment at the Etihad and there have been suggestions he’ll be dismissed before the season is out.
But with a crucial week in Chelsea’s season getting underway tonight, will Abramovich pull the trigger the worst happen against Manchester United in tonight’s FA Cup fifth round clash?
