South Africa will be a tough nut to crack when Nigeria host Bafana Bafana on June 10th in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier according to Super Eagles midfielder, Michael Babatunde.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who last featured for Nigeria in a competitive match at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, believes South Africa won’t make it an easy game in Uyo.
Babatunde told brila.net that he expects the 1996 Afcon winners to come into the game fighting tooth and nail for the three points.
“Picking the three points is very important, but I don’t expect South Africa will travel all the way just to hand Nigeria maximum points.
“South Africa will be a difficult opponent, even if we are playing them in our backyard. But we cannot afford to not win.”
