Super Eagles defender, Elderson Uwa Echiejile has expressed his excitement at making the final World Cup squad while also citing the high confidence level in team’s Camp.
Echiejile stated this in a brief chat with brila.net, saying that playing in the world cup will be a great achievement for him again after missing the 2014 World Cup in Brazil due to injury.
The AS Monaco defender further stressed that every player dreams of playing in the world cup & that he’s looking forward to the world cup challenge.
Elderson, 30, remains the only natural left back in the Eagles squad and will be ready to battle Amkar Perm’s Bryan Idowu for a spot in the Lineup.
The veteran player was an unused substitute in Saturday’s friendly game against England at Wembley Stadium with Idowu on for the entire duration.
