Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been named in Hector Cuper-led Egypt’s World Cup squad, despite a shoulder injury which will keep him out for few weeks.
Salah was a doubt due to an injury he sustained in the Champions League final that took him out of the encounter where Liverpool lost 3-1 to Real Madrid.
The EPL player of the year had travelled to Valencia, Spain, to undergo treatment but has been seen without a sling as he undergoes treatment – He is likely to return on 20th June.

Serena Williams has pulled out of the French Open after suffering an injury ahead of her fourth-round tie with Maria Sharapova.
The 36-year-old Serena suffered an arm injury before taking to Philippe-Chartrier court and immediately made her way to the interview room at Roland Garros.
Just before the big match against Sharapova, Serena Williams announced her retirement because of an arm injury.
She has called a press conference to explain more in detail the nature of his injury. Surely, the Parisian crowd will be hugely disappointed for the outcome of the most awaited clash of the day.

Leroy Sane has been left out of Germany’s World Cup squad for Russia 2018 by manager Joachim Low, despite having a stunning season in Manchester City’s EPL-winning campaign.
Sane, Bayer Leverkusen pair Bernd Leno and Jonathan Tah and Freiburg striker Nils Petersen were all dropped as Joachim Low cut the defending champions’ 27-man provisional squad to 23.
The 22-year-old, who this season was named PFA Young Player of the Year, scored 10 goals and provided 15 assists for City as they cruised to the Premier League title as well as the Carabao Cup.

Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation Technical study group, Abba Yola has called on Nigerians not to write off the Super Eagles’ Russia 2018 world cup chances.
In a chat with brila.net, The Chairman of the NFF technical study group maintained that Nigerians should not write the team off despite their recent winless run of form against Serbia, Congo DR and now England.
Yola said the friendly matches so far doesn’t indicate what the Super Eagles team will look like during the world cup as it was just a platform for the coach to tinker with the squad in various ways.
Nigeria lost 2-1 to the Three Lions of England at Wembley last Saturday and will now face the Czech Republic on Wednesday in another Pre-World Cup Friendly match.
The Eagles World Cup campaign starts on Saturday 16th June against Croatia.

Recuperating Leicester City Midfielder Wilfred Ndidi who did not feature against England at Wembley is now set to make his return from injury against The Czech Republic on Wednesday.
Ndidi suffered a hamstring injury in Leicester City’s tie with Crystal Palace on April 28, which saw him miss the rest of the 2017/2018 Premier League season.
The former Genk midfielder also missed Nigeria’s friendlies against Congo DR.
However, Eagles coach Gernot Rohr has said Ndidi will now start against the Czech Republic on Wednesday in a final warm-up game leading up to the World Cup in Russia.
“We need but we have an agreement with Leicester City and (the England game) was not the time for him to return (to action).
“We followed exactly the programme Leicester gave us.
“But he will start next game against the Czech Republic, and I hope if he played, he will be fit on June 16 (World Cup Group D match vs Croatia).”
