Nigeria’s U17 Coaches, Manu Garba and Nduka Ugbade have set out to build a new Eaglets team, stronger and better than the 2013 set.
The process for selection is currently ongoing in Abuja and Ugbade, in a chat with Brila.net highlighted the key qualities the players are expected to possess.
Speaking on Tuesday, after Day 1 of the screening exercise the assistant Coach said ‘players at this level are expected to show high level of discipline, skills and hard work.
He stressed the need to build a team capable of carrying on the tradition of the most successful U17 boys team in the world; and correct the mistakes of 2017 when the Eaglets were failed in the African qualifiers.
