CB Olisa Ndah is prepared to challenge for a place in the Super Eagles starting lineup, as he returns to the national team after nearly three years away.
Ndah has been included in the squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
The 26 year-old will face stiff competition for a spot in central defense, as he competes against established players like William Troost-Ekong, Semi Ajayi, and Calvin Bassey.

Speaking on the competition within the team, Ndah expressed his readiness for the challenge.
“I think it is a healthy competition, and there are a lot of great players in the team. No matter who starts on Saturday, I think we’re all committed to the team,” Ndah stated.
Ndah, who once played for Akwa United in Uyo, also reflected on the warm reception he received from local fans.
“It’s a good reception, and there are a lot of great guys here. I’m enjoying my time, and being in Uyo feels like home since I’ve spent a few years here before,” he added.
