The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has announced the suspension of Shooting Stars’ camp commandant, Auwal Mohammed from all NPFL-related activities for indiscipline.
Mohammed will serve a one-year ban, which takes effect immediately, after the League Organisers viewed his action as irresponsible.
The official was caught on camera urinating in the centre of the playing pitch just before NPFL game between Shooting Stars and Akwa United over the weekend.
The club was also handed a fine of 500k for bringing the game into disrepute and failing to control the conduct of its official.
The fine must be paid within seven days, according to the IMC’s publication.
