Sacked Enugu Rangers Coach, Imama Amapakabo has suggested that his former assistant shelved the options of honor and dignity after he accepted the interim role as Coach at the club.
Imama was sacked via e-mail following a string of poor results including the agonizing 2-2 draw against Zesco United in CAF Confederation Cup play off match on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
Speaking with brila.net after his sack on Monday, Imama said ” It’s all about honor.”
” Ironically, he was only employed by Rangers because I choose him as my assistant Coach.
” So, the onus is on him, it’s about honor and dignity; whatever path he has chosen I respect him, and I don’t hold it against him.”
