Nigeria international, Ademola Lookman netted his second Serie A goal of the season for Atalanta on Tuesday, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a 3-2 loss against newly-promoted Como.
Lookman, who surprisingly started the match on the bench, was introduced after Atalanta had fallen behind 2-1.
The Bergamo-based side took an early lead in the 18th minute through Davide Zappacosta, but Como mounted an impressive comeback, scoring three goals in a 12-minute span during the second half to take control at 3-1.
Lookman reduced the deficit in stoppage time with a well-taken penalty, bringing his tally to two goals and one assist in two league games.
However, his efforts were in vain as Como held on for the victory.
Following the defeat, Atalanta sit 12th in the Serie A standings, with six points from their first five matches.
